  • Need some snuggles with a kitty or a cat? There are 45 minute kitty visits for $10 at the Regal Cat Cafe.  https://www.regalcatcafe.com/ There's also a new cat cafe in the Calgary NW called Cafe and Mi- if you make a $5 beverage purchase, you'll be able to visit their cats - https://www.cafeandmi.com/rules

FREE:

  • March 18 (10:30am): Boxercise - at Village Square Leisure Centre, there will be a free Boxercise class!  

PAID:

  • March 19 (8:00pm): Alberta Spotlight: John Wort Hannam -  at King Eddy (438 9 Ave SE), this installment of National Music Centre's Alberta Spotlight is headlined by Lethbridge roots act John Wort Hannam. This artist has won multiple awards for his songwriting style over the last 17 years. Admission: $15
  • March 20 (8:00pm): The Jack Lumber Band -  at King Eddy, Calgarian roots-rock act The Jack LumberBand is performing. Performing live in red-and-black flannel shirts, the quintet brings a bit of a spectacle to its fun-loving take on Canadiana. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Admission: $10-15
  • March 24 (7:00pm-8:30pm): Wordfest Presents: Kathy Recihs (A Conspiracy of Bones) -  at Central Library, Kathy Reichs will be in Calgary to promote her new thriller: A Conspiracy of Bones. The hit TV series Bones is based on Reichs' novels and this newest addition to the series follows Temperance Brennan on her latest adventure. Admission: $20-25
